We are excited to announce that Jayden Els will join the Century Racing factory line-up from the opening round of the South African National Championship next weekend.

@jayden_els began racing go-karts at the age of seven and quickly established himself as one of South Africa’s brightest young motorsport talents. At just 12 years old, he became the Mini Max Karting World Champion and won the Africa Open in the same year. He later expanded his racing career into rallying and circuit racing, securing multiple national class championships in rallying in 2020, 2021, and 2022.

In recent years, @jayden_els has made the transition to rally raid, where he has already demonstrated impressive pace and potential. He has competed in two rounds of the FIA World Rally-Raid Championship, including the Sun City and Morocco events in 2025. He will be partnered by navigator Johann Swemmer, who has shared the cockpit with him since 2024.

“A very exciting time for us to welcome Jayden to our line-up, he’s bringing with him a mix of youth, speed and versatility which will help develop our cars further. He will hopefully fulfill his personal goals driving a Century Racing car and we can’t wait to get him comfortable in the car!” says Mark Corbett, CEO of the Century Group.

A record number of Century Racing CR7’s are taking part in this year’s International Taklimakan Rally. Eight of the Century T1 Ultimate rally raid race cars are entered in the 17 day marathon, often hailed as “Dakar of the East”.

The Race is 7500km in total of which 3400km of that is special stages. Both drivers, machines and teams are put to the ultimate test as they navigate the unforgiving terrain surrounding the Taklimakan Desert. The start is in Urumqi and the finish is in Aksu, where nearly 152 vehicles representing 74 global teams compete.

The CR7 Driver line up:

1. Zhang Huijun (CHN) and Xing Xinjian (CHN)
2. Liu Yatuan (CHN) and Saga (CHN)
3. Song Kun (CHN) and Liu Yuan (CHN)
4. Wang Minglei (CHN) and Du Xuanyi (CHN)

Spectacular performance from @mathieu_serradori and @loicminaudier at the 10th edition of the @cartarallye 🥈🇲🇦

After a grueling week of intense competition around Mhamid, the duo fought until the very last meter to secure a superb 2nd place in the overall ranking. Their “full gas” approach and the solid reliability of the Century Racing CR6 proved to be a formidable combination against a world-class field.

We are incredibly proud of the grit and sportsmanship shown by the entire team. This podium finish is a testament to the hard work and “never-give-up” attitude that defines factory racing.

Congratulations also to @simon.vitse and @max.delfino for the win and to @nasser_dakar and @fabianlurquin for a hard-fought 3rd place.

The Moroccan desert has become a proving ground for the CR6 platform this April.

The Morocco Desert Challenge wrapped up this weekend, headlined by a standout performance from Agostino Rizzardi and Claudio Fenati. They brought the CR6-T 2wd home in P2 overall and took the class win, a well-deserved breakthrough for the crew.

Mike Van Eikeren and Jasper Riezebos along with the Chesneau brothers, also put in solid shifts, finishing their respective runs in P17 and P5.

While one race ends, another is just getting started. Over in Agadir, Mathieu and Loïc kicked off the Carta Rally in a V8-powered CR6.
